Enter to win a Mind Management paperback on Goodreads Giveaways
For the first time in nearly six years, I’m running a giveaway on Goodreads Giveaways. Enter to win one of twelve paperback copies of Mind Management, Not Time Management.
In case I haven’t talked about it enough, Mind Management, Not Time Management is an approach to productivity when creativity matters. Creative thinking doesn’t stand up to the traditional time management paradigm of “time put in = value taken out.”
This is becoming even more true in the age of AI. As the “stacking bricks” type of work can increasingly be done quickly or in nearly no time at all, the value of the quality of your ideas is increasing. So learn to work with the Four Stages of Creativity, learn when to choose a grippy or a slippy tool, and start organizing your tasks by mental state.
Mind Management shares the creative productivity approach I used to help Timeful design their app, some features of which Google has integrated into Google Calendar. It’s a way of working with the resource of energy rather than time to have better ideas, learn faster, and do better work.
Enter here and I’ll be announcing the winners in a few weeks.
Ohhh, neat book marketing
If you’re curious how this is working out for me from a book-marketing perspective, here’s what I know so far. So far no big jump in sales, but a huge spike in adds to the to-read shelf on Goodreads.
With 1,543 entries, this giveaway is currently the third most-popular Goodreads Giveaway in the Business category.
If that seems like too many entries for you to have a chance, remember, I’m giving away one copy for every hour on the face of a clock. And entry is free, so enter here.
(The giveaway is only good for books to be sent to a U.S. address.)
