LM: #272: Simple yet powerful journal prompt
When my to-do list isn’t getting done, it’s usually because I’ve fallen into the trap of thinking I can do anything, anytime.
When I match my task with my mental state, my to-do list completes itself.
But through the fog of daily life you can’t easily see what tasks go with what states. There’s one simple journal prompt that helps.

At the end of your day, ask yourself:
When did my energy match my task? When did it not?
Answers to these questions are usually easily at reach. We remember a moment when doing was easy, and a moment when it was not.
Use this prompt at the end of every day for a week, and you’ll notice patterns you can follow to improve your routines.
Book: Crypto Confidential is Nat Eliason’s tell-all of winning and losing millions in the new frontier of finance.
Cool: Set your iOS screen to black and white and you’ll instantly feel less stimulated by your phone.
Best,
David
