Pre-order Finish What Matters
In 2017, I decided I needed to get serious about shipping creative work.
So I challenged myself to send an email a day for 30 days. I wrote a draft of a book I’d call Getting Art Done. Some of you OGs might remember this graphic:

That little draft was the seed of an idea that would keep me busy for the next decade. But now this art is done.
The final book of the Getting Art Done trilogy is almost ready, and boy isn’t it the topic fitting: Finish What Matters is now available for pre-order on Amazon Kindle.

I thought this book would be easy to write. After publishing several other books and shipping hundreds of podcast episodes and newsletters without getting off schedule, I thought I knew all there was to know about finishing.
But that word, matters, gnawed at me throughout the process. We only have so many ideas, and so little time to follow them. How do we know we’re following the ones that matter?
I have never had to face so many personal demons as I have writing this book. It would have changed the course of my life if I had read it when I started out on my own nearly twenty years ago. I know I will never do things the same after writing this one.
I’m really excited to see if it has the same impact when you read it.
