OMFG Seth Godin endorsed “The Heart to Start”

So many have you have helped me along the way, so I wanted to share some news with you. I woke up this morning to learn that Seth Godin had recommended The Heart to Start on his blog.

Don’t believe it? Me neither. Yet here it is:

It remains to be seen exactly what becomes of this, but it feels like a big turning point. It’s almost three years ago now that I made the leap to move to Colombia and double down on writing. It took two years, after multiple traditional-publishing rejections, just to get the courage to self publish (with a big breakthrough coming from my Seth Godin podcast interview).

This book has been out for almost one year now, and I put it out there literally not knowing how to publish it, nor how it would be received.

So it’s nice to know that you can play the long game and have a book get an endorsement like this.

Thanks so much for your support thus far. This really couldn’t have happened without your early feedback, and especially your Amazon reviews (I’m currently trying to flesh out reviews on Audible, iBooks, other places, if you’re up for it. I’m considering making a run for the WSJ best-seller list in the New Year, so that would help.)

In case you’re wondering what an endorsement like this does for sales, apparently, a lot.
