Having run my business entirely on my own the majority of nineteen years, I’m especially sensitive to this. I’ve had to be ruthless about what I do and don’t take on.
So when Claude makes a big, elaborate plan that – if it were to be all carried out without my oversight or conscious awareness – might be really great, my spidey-senses tell me that if I take it all on, I’ll be in a tangled mess.
It never says, “You know what? You have these other priorities, so the juice here wouldn’t be worth the squeeze.”
In fact, for any parts of the plan it can’t do itself it will insist, “It’s two minutes of work for you.”
But 1 + 1 ≠ 2.

Best,
David
